The Mayan Calendar
They used a sacred calendar known as the Tzolkin, which was attuned to 4th-Dimensional galactic cycles and operated according to a 260-day main cycle (13x20). They also had a secular calendar used for recording 3-Dimensional time, based on a 360-day cycle (18x20), known as the Long Count. The Long Count consisted of 13 cycles of 144,000 days each, (or 5200 cycles of 360 days), totaling approximately 5125 solar years, known as a Great Cycle. Our current Great Cycle began on August 11, 3114 BC, and ends on December 21, 2012. Some scholars have also concluded that their New Age will not end on December 21 2012, but will actually begin on that date in 2012. This model [see shaded areas above] would then extend the Tribulation timeframe from 2015, the new starting point for the prophetic and allotted time as mentioned in Daniel 9:25-27 (seven lunar years of 360 days each) and bring us nearer to final Armageddon in August/September 2021.
