faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of

And the publican, standing afar
off, would not lift up so much his eyes unto heaven, but
smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

For God so loved the world, that
he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not
his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world
through him might be saved. ~ St. John 3-16:17
There hath no temptation taken
you but such as is common to man: but Got is faithful,
who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able;
but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that
ye may be able to bear it. ~ 1 Corinthians 10-13
For I am persuaded, that neither
death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers,
nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth,
nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the
love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. ~ Romans 8-38:39
For he saith, I have heard thee
in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured
thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is
the day of salvation. ~ 2 Corinthians 6:2
Then Philip opened his mouth,
and began at the same Scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water:
and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me
to be baptized? And Phillip said, If thou believest with
all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said,
I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And he
commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both
into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized
him. And when they were come up out of the water, the
Sprit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him
no more: and he went on his way rejoicing. ~ The Acts 9:35,
36, 37, 38 39
That if thou shalt confess
with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart
that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with
the mouth confession is made unto salvation. ~ Romans 10-9:10
